Terms of Service
These terms apply to work carried out by Watts Up Electrical and Communications (ABN 87 917 908 367, NSW electrical licence 384034C).
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are free and valid for 30 days. A quote covers the scope described in it. If hidden faults, non-compliant existing wiring, or extra work are found on site, I'll stop and confirm the added cost with you before continuing.
Payment
Invoices are payable within 7 days unless agreed otherwise. Larger installations may require a deposit for materials. Bank transfer is preferred.
Workmanship and compliance
All work is carried out to AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules and relevant NSW requirements, and a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work is issued where required. Workmanship is warranted for 12 months; supplied products carry their manufacturer's warranty.
Access and site conditions
Please provide safe, clear access to the work area and to the switchboard. Power interruptions may be necessary and will be discussed beforehand where possible.
Cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a booking. Ordered non-returnable materials may still be charged.
